About This Feature
On this page, you can give an image a glitch (RGB shift) effect.
A glitch is a deliberately "broken" design, like a buggy screen or a scrambled signal. By slightly offsetting the red, green, and blue channels, you can get the bleed of a retro TV or a cyber, futuristic, emotional vibe.
You can intuitively adjust how far the colors shift, the direction of the shift, and whether to make the result vivid — no expertise required.
Supported file formats are JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WebP, and HEIC.

What Is the Glitch (RGB Shift) Effect?
The glitch effect is a design treatment that makes an image look intentionally "broken."
A photo's colors are built from three channels — red (R), green (G), and blue (B). Offsetting them slightly makes the edges bleed into red and blue, for the distinctive look of a scrambled TV or a digital error. It is also called color fringing, chromatic aberration, or RGB shift.
About the Settings
- Shift Strength
How far the colors are offset. The higher the value, the more the colors bleed and the more violently "broken" it looks; lower values give a subtle, faint fringe.
- Shift Direction
Which way the colors shift. "Horizontal" offsets left and right, "Vertical" offsets up and down, and "Diagonal" offsets at an angle.
- Make Colors Vivid
When checked, the colors are boosted for a neon-like, vivid finish. Great when you want a cyber, futuristic look.
Example Uses
Give photos and logos a cyber, futuristic vibe
Make social media posts and thumbnails moody and distinctive
Get the retro texture of a broken TV or old VHS tape
Add an accent to music or gaming artwork
