Generally, the copyright belongs to the person who edited the image.
If the original image is copyrighted by someone else, they usually retain the copyright. There can be exceptions, such as when the original image is very simple and becomes unrecognizable after processing.

DataChef does not claim any copyright on processed images.

Most of DataChef's features are free, but we do offer the following services for a fee:
- High-quality version of the "Picture to Line Drawing (Coloring Page)" feature (you can preview the version with a watermark for free. The standard quality is still free)
- Hide advertisements
Also, please be assured that we will not charge you later for the services you have used for free.

On iOS, I can't save the converted image by long-pressing. Why?

DataChef works best when accessed through regular web browsers like Safari or Chrome on iOS.

If you're having trouble, it might be because:

Try opening DataChef directly in Safari, Chrome, Edge, or Firefox for the best experience.

The converted image is resized to 1280px.

For the "Picture to Line Drawing (Coloring Page)" feature, we also offer a high-resolution version for a fee. For other features, large images are automatically resized so that the longer edge is 1280px. Please understand that this is done to reduce server load.

When you enter card information for paid services, it's directly processed by Stripe, a secure external payment system. DataChef's system doesn't access your credit card number.

I purchased the ad-free plan, but I'm still seeing ads. What should I do?

After purchase, ads are initially hidden only on the device and browser used for the purchase.
Clearing cookies can temporarily disable ad hiding.

To reactivate ad hiding on any device or browser:

1. Click "Remove Ads" in the top right corner of any DataChef page.
2. Click "Already made a purchase? Please click here to activate." at the bottom of the popup.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to send the code.

How do I use my ad-free plan on a different browser?

To hide ads on a different device or browser, you can activate the ad-free plan by following these steps:

1. Access any DataChef page on the device and browser where you want to hide ads.
2. Click the "Remove Ads" link in the upper right corner of the header.
3. At the bottom of the popup, click "Already made a purchase? Please click here to activate.".
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to send the confirmation code.

Once activated, ads will be hidden on that browser until your plan expires.

How many devices can I use with my ad-free plan?

There's no device limit for individual users.
However, for shared or team use, we ask that each person purchases their own license.
